In my past capacity a software engineer for seven years, I’ve been on both sides of the technical interview table, as an interviewee and as an interviewer. I can relate to the difficulty in finding the best company to work for – this is part of the reason that I went into recruiting, so I can better understand and evaluate companies making an impact.
As a talent professional, my experience encompasses all sides of talent, from a recruiting agency perspective, to in-house talent at a startup that got acquired for triple digit millions as well as Oculus/Facebook, and the latest stint at a venture firm with a portfolio of startups in the AI and robotics space.
I honed my technical skills mainly from my BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Biology from MIT and PhD in Computer Science from UC San Diego (in distributed systems).
